Exciting News!!

So today was my check up with my OB/GYN to see how big the cyst on my right ovary was. They did an ultrasound and found out that the cyst was finally gone! What a relief. The cyst that I had ended up bursting inside of me and I had to go to the emergency room for all the pain I was having. My OB/GYN Doctor told me that when a cyst bursts inside of you, you feel like you're having contractions. Scary thought cause I was in a LOT of pain. Anywho, they told me I have to get blood work done before I go back in next month. Then I left. I was on the phone with my sister Hillary telling her how my appointment went when I got a phone call from my doctor (the one I was just with). She asked me if I was far away from the office and I told her no. She then told me to drive back to the office because she had news for me. So I turned around and went back. I got back in to the office and my doctor led me to one of the rooms and shut the door. The first thing she told me was "You're pregnant". I was in shock. I started to cry and she asked me if that was a good thing. I told her of course it was. I never thought I would ever hear those words. Considering Blake doesnt want kids for a long long long time. She calculated how far along I was, and as of today, I am 5 weeks and 5 days along in my pregnancy. YAY!!  Blake and me and Baby Shill makes three!!  Never been happier. :)

School has started!

Its that time of year again. School. This semester I am taking 4 classes at MCC and 2 Institute classes. Im taking ENG 102 with M. Bethy Clark, MAT 092 with Sherry Carlson (My teacher was originally supposed to be Rose Haw, but she was away on medical leave. I hope she's ok), PSY 101 with T. Calvin Coyle and ART 142 (Digital Photography) with Nadia Sablin.  We just finished week 2 of school and so far, its awesome! I love all my classes and my teachers. I've even made a few friends in each class. :)   For Institute, I am taking Book of Mormon (2nd half) with Bro. Dunham, and Book of Isaiah with Bro. Richardson. And, I absolutely love those classes too.  I don't know, I guess to me, I just feel more happy when Im at school and around people I can socialize with. Im a people person, so I really enjoy going out with friends and meeting new people. Back in grade school and growing up in Nephi, I was always shy, but as the years went on and I got in to High School, I started making more and more friends and more people noticed me because I was always out doing something new. :)  Anywho, I just wanted to write in my blog today, mostly because I hadnt written in it since October, but also because I miss writing in my blog and letting people know where Im at in my life. And believe me, a lot has happened since October!  :) Thanks for reading. Love you all!

Crazy Arizona Storm 10/5/10

The night of November 5, 2010 will be one that Arizonians will remember for a long time. The night of the Great Storm. It was seriously a HUGE nasty storm. 45 telephone polls in just Mesa alone fell over. Some of them even fell on top of houses (pictures below) and those houses were evacuated. Trees were uprooted. 90+ mph winds. Hail. The list goes on.

Stacie's Birthday Party!!

Ok, so my friend Stacie just had her birthday and we decided that she could have her party at our house.  We BBQ'd, watched movies, swam in our pool, and at CAKE! Mmm...gotta love the cake.  We had hamburgers, kabobs, veggies, fruit, chips and a HUGE bowl of candy.  Before the party even started, I was rushing to clean the house and go to the store and buy tons of decorations.  It looked really cool.  Here are some of the pictures from the party...

Here is the group we had at our house.  I think a few people are missing, but this is most of them.  As you can see, Hillary and I are in the back with our arms flailing.  That's only because I was falling off my coffee table because Hillary and I set a timer on our camera's and we had to run to get in the shot.  It still looks good though.  Silly us. :)

Stacie next to her birthday cake.  It was a glorious cake.  I didnt eat any though.  Im not really a cake person,  plus I couldnt eat anything anyways because I was getting my wisdom teeth out the next morning. :(  Still hurty.  Anywho, also with this picture, you may notice some yellow spotches of paint on the wall above the oven.  That's because Blake and I are starting to paint our new house.  We're not really sure what we were doing there, but all in all, we have found a really good color that will look good. :)

As you can see here in this picture, FOOD.  It was all really yummy...from what I ate. I mainly only snacked on the green bell peppers that were for the kabobs.

Stacie cutting her cake.  She was using the knife and server that Blake and I used at our wedding. I wanted to keep them just for fun.  I didnt actually think we were ever going to use them again.  Stacie just wanted to get a little practice in cake cutting. Afterall, she is getting married.  YAY STACIE!!  CONGRATS, AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

School is finally OVER!!

Now that I have finished my Spring semester at MCC, I have decided to work full time over the Summer and start school again in the Fall.  This last semester I got an A in my Math class and a B in my English class.  I am going to be taking MAT092, ENG102, and PSY101 in the Fall.  Wish me luck!!
