My Mom, Hillary, and my new Sister in-law Kelsey. For the past few months, my sister Celeste and I were planning on surprising Hillary at her baby shower. As the months passed, more and more family members wanted to come. So, my Mom, Celeste, Kelsey and my other sister in-law Keeara all drove down from Utah Thursday night to surprise Hillary at breakfast at Dennys the next morning. The look on Hillary's face was priceless.  :)

Even though this tree looks dead, its still beautiful to me. I especially like the vibrant colors of the blue sky and the green grass. I like looking at this photo because it makes me think of life and how as we get older, we all change. Some days, I know we feel like we're crummy or depressed on the inside, but on the outside, we're all beautiful.  :)

Sad, Sad News!

Well, I had another OB/GYN appointment on Tuesday and apparently, I'm not pregnant. They said they're not sure if I had a miscarriage or if the first test they took was faulty. Either way, my doctor told me a week ago that I was pregnant and then finding out a week later that I wasn't, really put a damper on my day. I was so ready and so excited to finally become a mother. But I keep telling myself "Everything happens for a reason" (That's my life quote. When ever anything happens to me, good or bad, I just think to myself "Everything happens for a reason" It sure helps me get me through a lot of stuff). But then again, I am very sad and very disappointed. I cried and cried until I finally thought to myself "Everything happens for a reason". Maybe the Lord didn't think I was ready to be a mother, or didn't think Blake and I are both ready to be parents, or if the Lord was testing us. I don't know, but I do know that someday I will be a mother and I will be able to raise my children with love, compassion, patience and a tender heart. I just can't wait for that day to come.
