UPDATE!!!

I thought it was time to update my blog...a lot has happened in such little time, but I'm going to write about the major events.

FIRST...I got my Temple Recommend renewed, and it has been such a blessing to go every week with Tyler. Last week I went twice, and it was a tremendous blessing.

SECOND...I GOT A NEW JOB!! After working at Myler Disability Law for over a year and a half, I felt like it was time for me to spread my wings a little more, and I got a job at Ancestry.com.

I start on April 15th, and I am SUPER excited! I will be the MSCSA for North America, located in Provo, UT. I just got called to be a Ward Indexer in my ward as well, so that will bring in more knowledge of Family History, which I have always been facinated of.

Next week is my last week at Myler Disability Law and they are all sad to see me go. Yesterday, we had a luncheon for me, and another co-worker who is also leaving to serve a mission. We invited everyone in our department, but our deptartment manager, John Roberts (Creator and actor in Kid History) couldn't make it, and he felt really bad, so he paid for everyone's lunches at Cafe Rio. It was pretty sweet of him to do that.

Anywho, that just about sums up the major events right now...Thanks for following. :D

Happy Birthday Grandpa Terry!!

Yesterday was my Grandpa Terry's birthday, and also his last. The Terry family all got together for a surprise party where we all sang, ate, and had fun family time. There were 97 Terry family members there. It was such a great day! Grandpa was so happy to see so many loved ones there.

Remembering those we Love, Miss and Cherish

About a week or two ago, a friend of mine had a family member pass away, and my brothers friend had his dad pass away, and it just got me thinking a lot about those we have lost through out the years. Two in particular people I have been thinking a lot about and missing every day are my grandparents, Harold and Bonnie Gividen. They have meant so much to me in my life and the things they have taught me throughout my childhood, I will cherish forever. I can still picture what their house is like on the outside and the layout on the inside. How I've missed playing dress up in the basement with my cousins, riding horses with grandpa, cooking food with grandma, Thanksgiving dinner every year with the whole family...the list goes on. So many memories. I have missed them greatly these last few weeks. With what I've been going through in life these days, I can imagine what great advice my grandma and grandpa would give me. Their sweet tender words would soothe my soul and warm my heart. I still feel their loving presence around me from time to time, and it always makes me feel at peace. Grandma and Grandpa, I love you, and miss you with all my heart.

Family Reunion in Wyoming

This last weekend, I went to Fort Bridger, Wyoming for a family reunion. It was amazing. It was so beautiful where we stayed. At night the sky was so clear you could see all the stars and the milky way. The activities that we ended up doing include fly fishing, fishing, swimming, tubing, and much more, but the best part was the water pad out on the lake. Soooo much fun! I will be posting pictures of the trip on here soon, so stay tuned. ;)

My New Job

I finally got a job. I am a Life Skills Instructor (LSI) for North Eastern Services. Basically I take care of clients who are mentally and/or physically disabled. Yesterday was my first day and it was actually pretty fun. I think I'm going to like it here. :)

Camping Weekend with my Dad!

This weekend, my Dad and Mom, me and my good friend David, are going camping up Beaver Canyon at Meadow Flats. I'm pretty excited to go on a little vacation. It's much needed. Dad is bringing his 4 wheelers and we will be riding as much as we can. :)  I will be posting pictures and whatnot when I get up there, so hang tight. :)
